The BTU WebTool has been developed within the framework of the project ‘Energy efficiency Reforms in Ukraine’ which is implemented by Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit GmbH (GIZ) and commissioned by German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ).
The main objective of this WebTool is to overcome the challenge and help Ukraine to reach its objective of energy efficiency.
At the moment the WebTool contains a classification of the building stock constructed during the period 1978 – 1988 years. The building stock constructed during other time periods will be added to the WebTool through a regular updates of the database and information.

The Austrian Energy Agency (AEA) with more than 75 employees from a wide range of disciplines advise decision-makers in politics, business, administration and international organisations on a scientific basis and provide support in reconstructing the energy system and implementing measures to tackle the climate crisis. AEA has carried out many projects especially regarding energy efficiency in the building sector worldwide. The Austrian Energy Agency accompanies its customers from politics, economy and administration on their way to the energy future. It develops strategies for a sustainable and secure energy supply, provides consultancy and training, supports implementation and is the networking platform for the energy industry.
iC has been actively present on the Ukrainian market since 2006 and officially registered in 2013 to serve as a local branch and contracting company for iC Austria.
During these years iC in Ukraine gained experience in project implementation within the multiple technical sectors and broad spectrum of tasks. Those included numerous energy audits, projects in the construction sector, traffic management, health and safety, environment, as well active involvement with the projects funded by International Financial and Donor Institutions.
The specific strength of iC consulenten is the competence in different fields of expertise providing integrated services and complete solutions.
